Hey there,
If you've encountered any difficulty in accessing the Michigan Oldies Podcast over the past few days, there was a reason.
Our affiliate, Clinton County Radio, had switched their feed from Listen 4 My Radio to their Live 365 Feed. We've made the correction on our show links on The Michigan Oldies Podcast website. The only difference, it will take you two clicks instead of one. The first to access CCR's Live 365 Player Page, the next for the play button on the Live 365 player.
Sorry if this caused an inconvenience in listening to the Podcast. As always, thanks for your support and patience.

The very very first post!
Hi,
Thanks for clicking the link to the blog. This is going to be our way of keeping you in touch with what is going on with the Michigan Oldies Podcast, it's hosts, Tony, Art, occasionally Dave, and anyone else we can drag into our fly by night enterprise out here in the beetfields of Michigan.
You may notice that The Michigan Oldies Podcast is not technically a podcast yet. It's a webcast, carried on Clinton County Radio (see our schedule of shows on the main site). That is about to change. Keep checking www.michiganoldiespodcast.com in the next few weeks as we prepare to get portable.
Also, if you have a rare and obscure song from the 50s, 60s or 70s you haven't heard in years that you'd like to hear us play, drop us a line at thoseguys@michiganoldiespodcast.com. If you have a copy of it, great...just drop us a line so we can co-ordinate how to get it in the show.
Plus, you may notice that we do a feature in each show called a Radio Ripoff, where we play a snippet of a classic Michigan top 40 station from the 60s or 70s (we'll probably bend the rules in the future to include Chicago, Toledo, Cleveland and Canada, since those signals came roaring in here as well). If you have an aircheck (recording) of one of these stations, drop us a line so we can feature it in a future show. It's our way of honoring those who came before us in the broadcast profession, and besides that, it's pretty neat to hear again for the very first time!
Comments are welcome on our blog; however, be nice. I wouldn't wipe my muddy feet on your Aunt Sadie's rug if I came to visit your home, would I? If you've got a burr in your shorts about something we have anything to do with, save it for our e-mail: thoseguys@michiganoldiespodcast.com. We're peaceful sorts here, and try to treat people the way we'd like to be treated.
That's it for now. Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.
